About Me

I'm Akif, a Full-Stack Developer who loves building seamless and engaging web applications. I specialize in React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Java Spring Boot, crafting both frontend and backend solutions that are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly.

Currently, I'm working at Playary, a platform for music, podcasts, and audiobooks, where I help develop immersive and engaging digital experiences. I have a passion for creating smooth and dynamic animations, making interfaces feel more alive and interactive.

When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me lost in music—I'm a huge fan of Twenty One Pilots, and their unique sound always keeps me inspired. I'm also a longtime Doctor Who fan, always up for a good time-travel story!

Selected Works

Playary for Podcasters

In this project, we developed Playary for Podcasters, an application that allows podcast creators to easily upload and manage their content. Users can add, update, and analyze their podcast episodes. The app was built using Next.js for a seamless and efficient frontend experience, while React Query was used for data fetching and state management. We designed a modern and sleek UI with Tailwind CSS and enhanced the user experience with smooth animations using Framer Motion.

Networking App

This project features the frontend for a microservices architecture, built using React, Next.js 14 App Router, Tailwind CSS, and i18next. This frontend interacts with the backend microservices through the API Gateway.

veRandevum

A freelance project where I built a sleek and responsive landing page for an appointment booking system. Developed with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, powered by Sanity as a headless CMS, and enhanced with Framer Motion animations for a smooth user experience.

Playary for Artists

We developed Playary for Artists, a platform that enables musicians to manage and publish their music content with ease. Built with Next.js and styled using Tailwind CSS, the app provides a smooth and dynamic user experience. React Query was used for efficient data fetching and caching, while Framer Motion added polished animations to enhance the UI.

Playary Web App

Playary is a music streaming web application where users can discover and listen to songs, albums, and podcasts. In this project, we redesigned and modernized the entire platform. We migrated from Redux to Zustand for simpler state management, replaced SASS with Tailwind CSS, and refreshed the overall UI/UX. New features were added, and we used Framer Motion to deliver smooth, interactive animations.
